Night
The night is a door only the blind can see.
Darkness makes the animals hear better
and he staggered not from being drunk
but from his futile effort to climb up
to the tower we had once lost.

God Needs Our Help

Pale and exhausted, Jesus stood near the tomb. "Lazarus,
come out," he yelled. They all waited. And the poor dead man
who felt that the fate of the world unfolded in this tomb, what could he do? Earth was lost
how could he leave the whole sky without a resurrection?
