To that end, here are three creative ways to use Books2Read that you probably haven\u2019t tried yet.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">#1: Get a custom URL<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your free Universal Book Link (which we fondly call your UBL) is a single landing page where you can include links to multiple global retailers for ebooks, print, and audiobooks. UBLs will automatically geotarget readers to a country-specific version of the website, so there\u2019s no hassle for anyone looking to buy your books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>But did you know that you can give your URL a custom name? That\u2019s right\u2014you aren\u2019t stuck with the random numeric\/text combination that gets auto-generated by the system.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead, you can customize your UBL to something that\u2019s easy to say and share wherever you are: on a podcast, at a conference, or chatting in line at the grocery store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more info on how to get a custom URL, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.draft2digital.com\/blog\/how-to-get-a-custom-url-for-your-books2read-author-page\/\">check out this post<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">#2: Create a virtual bookstore<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.draft2digital.com\/blog\/introducing-reading-lists-from-books2read\/\">B2R Reading Lists<\/a> are a powerful tool designed to help you share the books you love most with your readers. You can put your book on a virtual shelf right next to your favorite authors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These lists can be kept private if you want them just for you\u2014but they\u2019re fantastic for sharing to your mailing list, on social media, or anywhere else you\u2019d like. You can customize them by adding your branding or images and include short \u201cshelf-talker\u201d descriptions to orient readers about why and how you\u2019ve curated a particular carousel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, since Reading Lists use our Universal Book Links, you can include your affiliate info for every book you feature. Just add your affiliate codes after you log in to <a href=\"https:\/\/books2read.com\/\">Books2Read.com<\/a> and click on My Account. From there, you\u2019ll earn a little bit of extra cash any time someone purchases a book through your site. If you aren\u2019t sure, you probably aren\u2019t using it yet\u2014but you may want to start.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Facebook Pixel is a small snippet of code that helps track how well your Facebook ads are performing. Using Facebook\u2019s ad management system, you can track the effectiveness of your ads to optimize them over time, or better target future ads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Adding your Facebook Pixel to your Books2Read account means that it will be automatically inserted into your UBLs, Book Tabs, and Author Pages, providing a detailed look into how your Facebook ads and boosted posts are performing.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve all heard that knowledge is power\u2014and when it comes to Facebook, that\u2019s doubly true. To get set up, go to <a href=\"https:\/\/books2read.com\/\">Books2Read.com<\/a> and select Facebook Pixel from the My Account menu. From there, just paste your Pixel ID into the field and click Save.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that\u2019s it\u2014you\u2019re done!
